When Marlboro came to us, their digital presence needed more than a refresh. The brand required a cohesive system that could honor its heritage while performing across modern platforms. The existing site struggled with visual consistency, mobile optimization, and the ability to support seasonal campaigns without heavy development lift.
Our goal was to create a scalable digital foundation — one that strengthened brand expression, improved cross-device usability, and made campaign execution faster and more flexible.
Visual Identity & Brand Cohesion
We began with a comprehensive brand and digital audit, reviewing Marlboro’s visual language, tone, and competitive landscape. From there, we defined a modular design system that established clear rules for typography, grids, UI components, and image treatment.
The result was a visual framework that aligned closely with Marlboro’s iconic identity. Bold imagery, confident typography, and disciplined layouts came together to reinforce the brand’s strength while introducing a more refined, modern digital experience.
Responsive & Accessible by Design
The site was designed to perform seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Layouts adapt intuitively to different screen sizes, ensuring clarity, speed, and usability regardless of how users access the experience. Content is organized into flexible modules — hero banners, storytelling panels, and feature blocks — allowing brand messaging and promotions to be updated quickly without extensive redesign or engineering effort.
Accessibility and performance were baked into the system from the start, supporting a fast, reliable experience for all users.
Bringing the “6 Ways to Ranch” Campaign to Life
For the seasonal 6 Ways to Ranch campaign, we designed and built a modular microsite experience that lived natively within the main site architecture.
Dynamic visuals, subtle animations, and campaign-specific calls-to-action were layered onto the core system, allowing the campaign to feel distinct while remaining fully integrated with the broader Marlboro ecosystem.

Hero and brand modules establish tone immediately through strong imagery and clear typographic hierarchy. Campaign extensions like 6 Ways to Ranch build on this foundation, introducing custom motion and interaction without breaking consistency.
Navigation, motion, and performance were tuned for fluidity — touch-first interactions, lightweight animation, and streamlined menus ensure a fast, seamless experience across every device.
